Known as TechD, the program will be supervised by the Association for the Promotion of Excellence in Brazilian Software (Softex), and focused on developing solutions in new technologies, including internet of things (IoT).
Honduras Startup, the country's government-led program for developing local entrepreneurs, has awarded 2 million lempiras (US$85,000) to three burgeoning tech companies in the second edition of the Startup Awards.
Funds will come from the 20 departments and agencies participating in the government’s Innovative Solutions Canada program. Each department will set aside 1% of its research and development expenditures for this initiative.
