Xerox Services Hires Former Capgemini Executive Sue Watts

Global outsourcing firm Xerox Services has named former Capgemini executive Sue Watts as its new Vice President of Business and Operations Planning for Services.

Watts previously supervised Capgemini’s operations across the Americas and has considerable experience in delivering HR and application management services. She will report to President Robert Zapfel, who took charge of Xerox in March this year.

“Sue is an industry veteran with deep experience leading global organizations and business transformation initiatives in business process outsourcing (BPO), applications management and development and IT outsourcing (ITO) operations,” Zapfel stated. “Sue will work with our leadership to further drive offer development and strategy.”

Watts acquired a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and over the past 25 years she has handled several global roles for companies including Orange Business Services and Unisys Corporation.

She had a long career with Unisys, where, as a Vice President, she was responsible for the North America Global Outsourcing and Infrastructure Services organization.

Headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut, Xerox operates in about 180 countries and has more than 140,000 employees. In recent years, it has been focusing more on expanding its operation in outsourcing sector, which currently accounts for 57% of its revenue.

Xerox’s service portfolio includes transaction processing, ITO, toll collection and call center support. In June it acquired ISG Holdings for US$225 million, apparently to strengthen its payment services unit.
