Caribbean Series: 7 Days of Pure Baseball Heaven Off-season

Looking to get your baseball fix off-season? We’d advise you to check out the Caribbean Series, also known as the Caribbean World Series, starting today.

This annual event is this year held in Culiacan, Mexico, is the biggest baseball tournament at club level in Latin America, with league champions from Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Venezuela participating.

This year’s competing teams are Tigres del Licey from Dominican Republic, Criollos de Caguas from Puerto Rico, Aguilas de Mexicali from Mexico, Aguilas del Zulia from Venezuela, and Granma Alazanes from Cuba.

The seven-day tournament will be broadcast on ESPN Deportes and WatchESPN.
