With the Fintech industry growing at a sizzling rate of over 20% per year, new concerns are being raised that Fintechs are ill-prepared to properly and sustainably respond to the intense demand for their services. Many Fintechs have miscalculated the complexity of scaling their operations to correspond to this demand, which in turn has put major strain on product development, service delivery and customer engagement. During our special Nearshore Americas webinar, we examined the growing weaknesses around the Fintech operational model and how Jamaica – with its thriving digital economy – is particularly well positioned to aid and assist in some of the most crucial areas of weakness for this emerging industry. We explored solutions in the areas of fraud prevention, blockchain, accounts receivable management, healthcare revenue cycle management, application design and regulatory technology.
