Cuba has always been a tough market for US entrepreneurs to succeed in — as Nearshore Americas discovered first-hand — but for one determined businessman, Tom Penichter (pictured), Founder of Blue Ocean Technology, some of the difficulties surrounding talent have been part of the country’s value.
“It’s twice as hard because my team holds me to a higher standard than just signing a check,” writes Tom in his blog post. “[For them] it’s about creating something meaningful and just that has the potential to create a legacy…and that has made all the difference.”
