KM2 Solutions Bulks up Barbados Presence with New Call Center

Nearshore BPO provider KM2 Solutions has bulked up in Barbados with the addition of a new facility (pictured) to its existing operation in capital Bridgetown.

The New York City-based outsourcer has not disclosed how many people it would add to its workforce in Barbados following the expansion, but has stated that the new facility can accommodate up to 800 employees.

“The expanded KM2 presence in Barbados is due to the addition of several new client programs for voice, chat, and email,” the company has said.

Today, as many as 1,200 agents are working at its call centers in Eastern Caribbean countries alone, including Grenada, St. Lucia, and Barbados.

The outsourcer has now begun to offer a new array of back-office services, including loan pre-funding, logistics support, automobile funding/floor planning support, direct marketing sales & support, and B2B sales.

Considering its press release, the newly recruited employees will soon undergo training to learn how to provide new services through voice, chat, and email. In addition, it has also announced the launch of a healthcare center inside its premises in Bridgetown to provide medical service to its employees at free of cost.

“This medical facility and our continued expansion in Barbados have resulted from a solid partnership with Invest Barbados and the Barbados Investment Development Corp (BIDC),” the outsourcer stated.

Barbados has long been at the center of KM2’s operations in the Americas. At Nearshore Nexus 2016,  KM2’s chief executive officer David Kreiss received the prestigious Executive of the Year award in recognition of his training programs to develop outsourcing talent in the Caribbean country.

Despite the fact that it is currently headquartered in the United States, KM2 Solutions originated from St. Lucia, later expanding to the Dominican Republic, Barbados, and Grenada. Today its biggest bilingual call center is in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
