Tegucigalpa is the home of a new delivery campus for customer experience management provider Startek Inc. The center will offer omni-channel customer experience management and back office BPO services. Startek now employs more than 2,200 customer experience agents in its three campuses in San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Honduras President Juan Olrando Hernández opened the campus on January, 16, in a ceremonial ribbon cutting.
Lance Rosenzweig, global CEO and president, said in a statement: “The exceptional talent of our Honduran workforce has been an integral part of our growth for nearly a decade, and we are proud to once again expand our presence in this beautiful country.” Startek opened its first BPO center in San Pedro Sula in 2011, and followed this with the opening of one in Tegucigalpa in 2014.
